Today was the last day to make a difference. It was day 17.

Today I made a difference by helping out a bit with the dinner and entertaining a little boy called Nicolas who came over with his parents for dinner. I knew I had made a difference because I could see my mum and Nicolas's mum appreciated it. I also got proof that they appreciated it because both my mum and Nicolas's mum reacted by saying thank you me a couple of times each.

Today was day 9 out of 17 to make a difference.

Today I made a difference by letting my brother choose what to have for dinner even though it was my turn. I know that I made a difference because my brother didn't want what I was going to choose for dinner and today he won an award so I let him choose. In the end we ended up having Hell Pizza. His reaction was saying thank you and enjoying his pizza.

Today was day 8 out of 17 to make a difference.

Today I played on freerice.com along with Cheyenne and Alan. Freerice.com is a website which is a vocabulary quiz and for every question you get right 20 grains of rice gets donated to the needy. Altogether we raised 4020 grains of rice. We did this during SSR time. I know we made a difference because the rice we raised will feed quite a few people tonight. This to me is enough proof to make me to think that we made a difference.

Today was day 7 out of 17 to make a difference.

Today the kind gesture that I performed was helping my brother with his homework. He had to draw the New Zealand flag and was having trouble so I helped him. I know I made a difference because before I offered to help him he was getting frustrated as he couldn't quite get it right. After I had helped him draw it he seemed a lot less annoyed and frustrated (he was in a much better mood). Also he thanked me. I felt good that I had helped him and I felt that I got a great reaction from him.

Today was day 6 out of 17 to make a difference.

Today I made a difference by taking a boy in my class called Matthew up to the sick bay as he had a huge lump on the side of his head. I know I made a difference because he seemed quite relieved that he was going home as he had a sore head. The way Matthew reacted to me making a difference by thanking me and appreciating what I had done for him.
(The lump on his head was HUGE!)

Today the kind gesture that I performed was picking up a whole lot of paper towels when they got blown all over the floor by the wind. I helped out our science teacher Mr Mc Kenzie. I know that I made a difference because Mr Mc Kenzie thanked me. Also when the wind blew the paper towels all over the floor, I started to pick them up but Mr Mc Kenzie didn't notice. He then asked me as I was picking the paper towels up if I could pick them up and then realised that I was already picking them up. Mr Mc Kenzie reacted to me making a difference by thanking me and looking thankful that I had done something to help him.

My brother had been asking and asking if he could get an ice-cream on the way home and I decided to buy him one to help my mum out and to be nice to him.

I made a difference to my family and friends as it meant that they could sit down and relax instead of having to do dishes themselves.
